The Route
At Calgary International Airport
The airport half of this trip is where most of the friction lives — customs queues, a carousel that takes longer than expected, a flight that lands forty minutes early. This is how each of those is handled.
Give us your flight number at booking and we track it from departure. An early landing, a delay or a diversion moves your pickup with it — you do not need to call, message or re-book. This is standard on every YYC pickup, not an add-on.
Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall with a name sign, on the public side of customs, and helps move bags from the carousel to the vehicle. If you would rather be met at the curb, say so at booking and we will arrange it that way instead.
Up to 60 minutes of complimentary waiting from your flight's actual gate arrival, unless your booking confirmation states otherwise. That covers a normal customs and baggage run on both domestic and international arrivals.
Tell us the bag count, not just the passenger count — they are rarely the same number on a Banff trip. Ski bags, boot bags, snowboards, golf clubs, strollers and oversized cases all change which vehicle we send.
Infant, toddler and booster seats are available at no additional charge when requested in advance. Give us each child's age and weight at booking so the right seat is fitted rather than guessed at.
Service runs 24/7. A 01:00 landing or a 04:30 departure transfer is booked the same way as a midday one, with no overnight surcharge added after confirmation.
Delayed or missing luggage is the one thing that can push you past the waiting window. If it happens, contact your chauffeur or our reservations team from inside the terminal — we will coordinate rather than leave. Extended waiting beyond the included period is charged as set out on the rates page, and is confirmed with you before it applies.
Beyond the One-Way Ride
Most people booking this route are thinking about the flight in. Here's what else is worth sorting out before you land.
Booked one way to Banff? We handle the ride back to YYC too — scheduled against your actual departure flight, not a guess, so you're not arranging a ride from the hotel lobby on your last morning.
Cochrane for MacKay's Ice Cream, the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary, or the Bow Valley Parkway for the Morant's Curve photo stop. Mention it when you book and it's built into your itinerary.
Every SUV and van is set up to handle skis, snowboards, golf bags and full winter luggage without cramming. Travelling heavy? Tell us at booking and we'll send the right vehicle.

Count bags as well as passengers. A vehicle that seats six rarely carries six people's winter luggage. Ski and boot bags in particular are what usually moves a booking from a sedan to an SUV or a van.
